How Do Solar Panels Generate Electricity?

As the light from the sun interacts with the silicone, electrons are set into motion, which in turn initiates the flow of electric current in the system. This is known as the ‘photoelectric effect,’ and this mainly describes how the solar panel technology functions. Solar panels generate DC (Direct Current) form of electricity. The solar inverter then converts DC into AC (Alternating Current) which is utilized by the majority of household appliances.
